Musicothérapie dans le cadre d'un programme de réunification parents-enfants

Les familles séparées pour maltraitance et négligence peuvent être confrontées à un stress composé, et la négligence dans l’enfance peut avoir des effets négatifs sur la résilience et le développement des enfants (Jacobsen, 2017; Pasiali, 2012). La musicothérapie peut répondre aux besoins de ces familles en quête de réunification. Toutefois, le processus de mise en œuvre du traitement nécessite la collaboration d'organismes de services sociaux, de bailleurs de fonds et de fournisseurs de services. Cet article décrit deux implémentations différentes d'un groupe de musicothérapie dans un programme de réunification, les défis cliniques et contextuels liés à la mise en œuvre et les avantages pour les familles.
