Abstract

This report describes the current state of the Music Therapy study program (Postgraduate Specialization in Music Therapy) in the Universidad de los Andes in Venezuela, along with a special feature of it's curriculum; the Venezuelan Music Therapy Ensemble. (ENVEMUST by its Spanish intitials), which groups Students and Teachers, focused on the communities for therapeutic intervention.

Daniel Enrique Richardson

Daniel Richardson is a Music Therapy Student of the Postgraduate program in the Universidad de los Andes, (ULA), in Merida (Venezuela). His career as a Flutist has taken place in Orchestras, Chamber Ensembles and as a soloist. A graduate of the Conservatoire Neuchâtelois in Switzerland, from the class of Michel Bellavance with "Diplôme de Concert", currently he teaches Flute in the "Sistema de Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela", the Music School "Miguel Angel Espinel" and he  performs at the "Simon Bolivar" Symphony Orchestra at Tachira State.
